Dr. Ganesh Pai is Senior Technical Fellow for safety assurance and Principal Researcher at KBR. He is also a contractor member of the scientific staff in the Intelligent Systems Division at the NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California. His research and professional practice address the areas of safety, dependability, and assurance of aerospace systems and software. Ganesh has published over 50 articles on those topics, and has served on the international program committees of related conferences and workshops. He serves as the one of the principal editors and co-authors of ARP6983/ED-324 (Development and Assurance considerations for Aeronautical Systems and Equipment implemented with Machine Learning) being developed jointly by SAE G-34 and EUROCAE WG-114. Dr. Pai was elected as an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) in 2026.
