Mr Hussain Ahmad is a final-year PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide, Australia, specializing in the intersection of cyber security and scalability of software architectures. His research focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating self-adaptive frameworks aimed at automating and optimizing the security and scalability of microservice architectures. During his PhD, Hussain has collaborated on various projects with prestigious industry partners including the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre, CSIRO’s Data61, Cisco, and Defence Science and Technology Group of Australia. Alongside his research, Hussain mentors graduate students in software engineering and cyber security, while also serving as a representative for postgraduate researchers, advocating for their interests and concerns. Hussain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
