Name: Mazyar Seraj
Bio: Mazyar Seraj is a researcher at the University of Bremen and German Research Center for AI (DFKI), Germany where he is studying as a PhD candidate. Before joining the University of Bremen and DFKI, he studied his master degree at Multimedia University (MMU) and worked as a lecturer at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia. He is a member of ACM as well as a reviewer for ACM Special Interest Group on CS Education. His research interests are in the area of Computer Science Education, Visual Programming, HCI, Interactive Educational Systems and Software Engineering. He is currently working to find out the impacts of visual block-based programming environments on motivation and acquisition of programming skills in the context of smart environments.
