Bio:

I started my PhD after studying Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). My position is in the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), the largest individual research program in Sweden with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and explainable Artificial Intelligence.

More concretely we are working with robot arms in the context of industrial assembly tasks and use machine learning techniques such as reinforcement learning (RL) to learn efficient, robust and explainable policies. As part of this I am not only working with skill-based system, but also develop appropriate RL approaches and manage the required implementation on simulated and real robot systems.
