Name:Leif Knutsen
Bio:

I have 30+ years as a management consultant at the senior management level, working for large (McKinsey, Accenture) and small firms, focusing entirely on leadership challenges related to information technology. I have most of my work experience from the New York area, serving clients within financial services, media, and pharmaceuticals. In Norway, I have served financial services and public sector clients, with an emphasis on long-term assignments to facilitate significant change.

I am pursuing a PhD to augment my knowledge - and my contributions - with a scientific sensibility, as I have long felt that opinions - with attendant biases - tend to influence too many decisions; and that much of the scientific literature is inaccessible to practitioners.

I have a BSc (computer science and business) from San Francisco State University and an MBA (finance, banking, management, and marketing) from Columbia Business School. I am also pursuing a master’s degree in philology in my spare time.

I have a pair of adult twins and live in Oslo.
