Martin Krammer is an expert for computer simulations at Knorr-Bremse Rail Vehicle Systems, located in Munich, Germany and Moedling, Austria. He studied Telematics engineering at Graz University of Technology and received his Master’s degree in 2010. He spent more than 13 years at the border between academic research and industrial development during his career at Virtual Vehicle Research in Graz, Austria. He received his PhD degree from Graz University of Technology in 2022, after submitting his thesis about the integration of models and real-time systems into simulation environments. Since 2018 he is contributing to several working groups related to standardization of simulation, including the Modelica Association and the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
