Bio:

Md Ahasanuzzaman is a Ph.D. candidate at the Software Analysis and Intelligence Lab (SAIL) at Queen’s University, Canada. His research lies at the intersection of software engineering, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a focus on mining software repositories, and large-scale data analysis. His work aims to enhance developer productivity by automating key software development tasks and generating actionable insights from large-scale empirical data. Ahasanuzzaman’s research addresses critical challenges in developer engagement, issue triaging, software quality assurance, and ecosystem analysis. His work has been published in leading venues such as TSE, ESE, SANER, and MSR, totaling 11 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications.

He is a recipient of the Duncan and Urlla Carmichael Fellowship for academic excellence at Queen’s University. He was also honored with the Gold Medal from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements and leadership. He is also awarded the Dean’s Excellence Award from the University of Dhaka. He holds an M.Sc. from Queen’s University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
