Bio:

Miriam Börjesson Rivera is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Information Technology, at Uppsala University. She is part of the Digital Ecologies Lab and the USER group. Her main research interest is in the intersection of everyday life, digital technologies, and sustainability. More recently she is doing research on drivers and barriers for increased flexibility in the smart grid. Börjesson Rivera holds a PhD in Planning and Decision analysis with specialisation in environmental strategic analysis and has extensive experience working in transdisciplinary research projects with researchers from other scientific disciplines, such as design research, future studies, human-computer interaction and sustainability assessments. Her expertise lies in qualitative research methods. She also teaches sustainability aspects in ICT.
