Ove Armbrust received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He has served as researcher and consultant for Fraunhofer IESE in Kaiserslautern, and subsequently became the Software Engineering Process Group Lead for Alpine Electronics Research in Torrance, CA. After a short stint at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center Software Process Improvement Team in Greenbelt, Maryland, he joined Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon as Software Quality Engineer. Currently, he is leading a team of quality engineers to qualify software products of Intel’s Open Source Technology Center (OTC) and other divisions, and to drive continuous improvements across Intel’s software organization.
