Bio:

Robert Aish is visiting professor of Design Computation at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Previously, he was Director of Research at Bentley Systems, where he lead the development of Generative Components, a visual language for design computation for architecture and building engineering and then subsequently, Director of Software Development at Autodesk where he led the development of DesignScript, a hybrid visual-textural language for design computation. His research into the application of non-manifold topology as a precise, lightweight representation of construction has been supported by the Leverhulme Trust, resulting in the Topologic plugin.
