I am an Assistant Professor in the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. My research interests are in machine learning and natural language processing for software engineering, for improving developers’ productivity during software development, testing and maintenance. Specific topics include execution-guided machine learning models for test completion and lemma naming, learning to evolve code and comments, and frameworks for maintaining executable comments and specifications.
