Bio:
Uday Bondhugula is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Automation at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. He is also the founder of the AI compiler startup PolyMage Labs. His research interests are in the design of new compiler technologies with an emphasis on high performance and automatic parallelization. He is a co-founder of the MLIR compiler infrastructure project and the creator and primary author of the Pluto parallelization tool. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Ohio State University and his bachelor’s from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
