Xiaobing Sun is a professor in School of Information Engineering at Yangzhou University. He received his Ph.D in computer software and theory from Southeast University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Fudan University, and a visiting scholar at Singapore Management University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include software data analytics, software bug analysis and fixing, software vulnerability detection and diagnosis, etc. He was selected in some provincial talent projects, such as the “333” Project and the Six Talent Peaks Project in Jiangsu Province, and won the Youth Science and Technology Award of Jiangsu Computer Society, etc. He has chaired over more than 10 projects from the Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and CCF-Ant Scientific Research Fund, etc. He participated in initiating and organizing the International Workshop in Intelligent Bug Fixing; and as a guest editor, participated in organizing some special issues in Journal of Systems and Software, Journal of Software: Evolution and Process, and Frontiers of Information Technology and Electronic Engineering. He has been authorized more than 30 patents, and published more than 100 papers in referred international journals (EMSE, STVR, SCIS, etc.) and conferences (ICSE, S&P, FSE, etc.).
