Getting to the Conference Venue
Pasadena is in Greater Los Angeles, approximately 10 miles northeast of downtown LA. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the major airport in the region, but the area is also serviced by airports in Burbank, Ontario, Long Beach and Santa Ana / Orange County. We expect that most conference attendees will fly into and out of LAX.

Attendees can take the Flyaway bus from just outside their terminal to Union Station. Buses run every 30 minutes during the day, and should reach Union Station within about 30 minutes. Tickets cost $9.75, and can either be purchased online (https://www.flylax.com/flyaway-bus/fares-tickets), or when boarding the bus.

Next, take the northbound A line train from Union Station towards APU Citrus College. The conference venue is half a mile from Del Mar station. Tickets cost $1.75, and can be purchased using cash or card at prominently placed ticket dispensing machines. The drive from LAX to the conference venue is 28 miles long. Expect to pay around $50 for an Uber.

To ease congestion in the main LAX access road, taxis and rideshare services (Uber and Lyft) are now required to pick up passengers from a satellite parking lot named LAXit. Free shuttle buses regularly transport passengers from the terminal buildings to this lot. After exiting your terminal look for signs for LAXit. See https://www.flylax.com/lax-it.
Directions from Burbank Airport
An Uber from Burbank Airport to the venue might also cost about $50. Attendees can alternatively take the Ventura County Line MetroLink train (https://metrolinktrains.com/) from the airport to Union Station ($6, 26 minutes), and the northbound A line train from there to Del Mar.
