During the conference week we are planning to organize the annual ICSE run, one or more bicycle tours and other recreational activities.

Here are some suggestions for other things to do

Visit some of these galleries and museums:

• National Gallery of Canada (a 5 minute walk from the Shaw Centre)
• The Canadian Museum of History (across the Ottawa river; a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride)
• The Canadian War Museum (a 10 minute light-rail ride from the Shaw Centre)
• The Canadian Museum of Science and Technology (a 40-minute bus ride, or a 20 minute taxi/rideshare trip)
• The Canadian Aviation and Space Museum.
• The Canadian Museum of Nature (a 20 minute walk from the Shaw Centre)

Visit Parliament A five minute walk from the Shaw Centre.

Visit the Royal Canadian Mint. A 10-minute walk from the Shaw Centre.

Visit Rideau Falls (nice views)

Visit Rideau Hall (residence of the Governor General)

Go for a hike in Gatineau Park
