Arrival and Departure

From the Atlanta airport a cab ride is about 15-20 minutes or you can use convenient public transportation system known as MARTA. All MARTA trains are northbound at the airport; take one to the Midtown Marta Station. At the Midtown station take the Peachtree Place exit (south side) where you can catch the free Georgia Tech - Tech Trolley (The stop is right outside the exit). The hotel is across the road at the 2nd stop of the trolley. Note that on the weekends, trolley frequency is much lower.

Food!

The hotel is situated inside Tech Square which is full of restaurants, coffee, and a book store all located on 5th Avenue. Tin Drum Cafe is a popular choice among the students, and there is a Starbucks down the street.

  • “CCB Coffee”, ground floor of college of computing (enter via the quad)
  • Snobs, inside the bioengineering building
  • Galloway Cafe, inside the architecture building
  • Starbucks, Clough undergraduate commons building (south end)
