Cyber range automation, a bedrock for AI applications
In this paper, we propose an automated solution for conducting cybersecurity research. We show how automation can improve the foundations of cybersecurity research, and consequently facilitate and bolster the development of artificial intelligence applications. We identify the challenges that cybersecurity researchers face, as well as what automation offers to tackle them at three different stages: provisioning, configuration, and attack simulation.
