As a Ph.D. student at the University of British Columbia, I am currently researching the exciting intersection of AI and the software industry. Specifically, my research focuses on employing natural language processing (NLP) models to design innovative representations of code. By leveraging these representations, we aim to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of downstream tasks such as code summarization, code generation, code completion, and more. By exploring the potential of NLP models in the field of software engineering, we hope to advance the state-of-the-art in software development and ultimately improve the end-user experience.
