Xiang Chen received the B.Sc. degree in information management and system from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China in 2002. Then he received the M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in computer software and theory from Nanjing University, China in 2008 and 2011 respectively. He is with the School of Information Science and Technology at Nantong University as an associate professor. His research interests are mainly in software engineering. In particular, he is interested in empirical software engineering, mining software repositories, software maintenance and software testing. In these areas, he has published over 60 papers in refereed journals or conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, Information and Software Technology, Journal of Systems and Software, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Journal of Software: Evolution and Process, Software Quality Journal, Journal of Computer Science and Technology, ICSE, ASE.
