I am a PhD student in computer science at the University of Bern and a research assistant at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences where I am working on the EU Horizon project COSMOS (“DevOps for Complex Cyber-physical Systems”). I hold a master’s degree from the University of Zurich in Informatics. For my major, I studied Software Systems, and Data Science for my minor. Furthermore, for my Bachelor degree, I studied at the University of Zurich Software Systems with Applied Probability and Statistics as a minor subject. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD degree in Computer Science at the University of Bern.
During my studies, I mainly focused on software testing. My research interests are search-based software testing and fuzzing. In my ongoing work, I am investigating the area of software testing and testing in virtual environments combined with the development of tools to solve the problems in my research area. A prominent example is SDC-Scissor, which is a tool that leverages the test selection part of the regression testing process for self-driving cars software. My vision is to provide a regression testing framework that also includes test prioritization for simulation-based testing of cyber-physical systems.
