Dr. Sebastian Banescu is a computer security researcher and entrepreneur whose work bridges rigorous academic research with real-world impact in the blockchain and web3 space. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, where his thesis focused on quantifying the resilience of software obfuscation techniques against symbolic execution-based attacks. Before joining the web3 security space full time he has worked as a security engineer at traditional enterprises such as Deloitte, Philips and BMW.
