Dr.-Ing. Heiko Koziolek is a Corporate Research Fellow at ABB Corporate Research in Ladenburg. He leads research projects on software architectures for industrial process control. He also consults ABB software development units for the design of large-scale software systems. He studied computer science at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and obtained a PhD in software engineering supported by a scholarship of the German Research Foundation (DFG). His research is concerned with performance prediction for software systems as well as analyzing software maintainability. He is serving as Area Editor for the “Journal of Systems and Software”. He has served or is serving on the program committees of ICSE and ICSA and has reviewed for the leading journals “IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering” and “Journal of Systems and Software”.
