Dr. Mahum Adil is a Research Associate in Software Engineering at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. She completed her PhD at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. Her research focuses on collaborative software design practices and sustainability in software engineering, with a particular interest in how these areas intersect. During her PhD, she spent time abroad at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, and has published work on distributed software design and collaborative decision-making processes. She is motivated by the challenges faced by software development teams and explores how sustainability principles can inform everyday development practices and enable collaborative decision-making in software projects.
