Mariam Guizani is a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at Oregon State University. Her research area is at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Software Engineering and Online Communities. Her main research focus is on improving Diversity and Inclusion in Open Source environments from the social and technical perspectives. She interned at Microsoft Research in summer 2021, she holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Oregon State University, and was a recipient of the Fulbright scholarship in 2016.
