Paolo Salvaneschi is graduated in Physics at University of Milano. He worked in industry and ICT applied research organizations for about 30 years as software designer, software engineering consultant and manager of software development groups. Since 1998, he served as adjunct professor of Elements of Computer Science at University of Bergamo. In 2002, he joined the faculty of Engineering of the University of Bergamo as part-time associate professor. In 2000, he founded Salvaneschi & Partners, a consultancy firm in Software and System Engineering for ICT organizations. His current professional interests focus on Software Engineering, including Testing, Measurement of Software Quality, Safety Evaluation of Health Care Information Systems, Process Assessment and Improvement, and Software Evolution. He is strongly committed to integrate research/innovation and ICT practices to address the needs of ICT companies and public sector organizations.
