Bio:

I am Luca Di Grazia and I held a Great Minds Fellowship at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, hosted by Prof. Dr. Guido Salvaneschi, on automated security testing methods for AI-generated code. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral researcher in Software Engineering at Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Switzerland advised by Prof. Mauro Pezzè. Previously, I got my PhD (summa cum laude) in Software Engineering in the Software Lab group at Stuttgart Universität in Germany advised by Prof. Michael Pradel with the PhD thesis “Supporting Software Evolution via Search and Prediction”.

My research interests are on Generative AI (ACM TOSEM 2025) to automatically generate test oracles (ASE 2025), fix Python type annotations (see ICSE 2024), fix Java linter errors (Uber research internship), on Software Evolution and Mining Repositories (see ESEC/FSE 2022, Distinguished Paper Award), Code Change Retrieval (see IEEE TSE paper, second place winner of the ICSE 2022 Student Research Competition), Code Search (see ACM CSUR paper) and more.
