Name: Naveed Anwar Bhatti
Bio: Currently, I’m holding a post of Senior Researcher in Thiemo Voigt’s group at RISE-SICS in Stockholm, Sweden. Previously, I was an ERCIM Alain Bensoussan Post-Doctoral fellow in the same institute.
My primary research area is Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) with a focus on transiently-powered embedded systems. I have also carried out some research on network security, with a focus on network forensics.
I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering (DEIB), Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in February 2018, where I’m fortunate to be advised by Associate Professor. Luca Mottola. Before coming to Politecnico di Milano, I was a Research Associate in the Systems and Network lab at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, headed by Associate Prof. Affan A.Syed.
I received my MS (CS) and BS (Telecom) degrees from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES) in 2013 and 2011. My main active research project is System support for transiently-powered devices.
