Ari Jaaksi has worked with open systems for a long time. He ramped up and ran the MeeGo activities at Nokia, then worked in senior positions at Intel, Hewlett Packard and Mozilla for several years. He currently holds several board and advisor positions, is an adjunct professor at the University of Tampere, and a member of the Faculty Council of Information Technology, University of Jyväskylä. He received his Master of Education from the Tampere University and his Ph.D. Information Technology from the Tampere University of Technology in 1997.
