We can confirm now that:
- Masks will be required at all times when indoors (University of Auckland venue policy - likely to stay)
- All food will be served in such a way as to allow it to be eaten outside as both catering spaces have suitable tables and places to eat outside while December is a summer month in NZ
- NZ is likely to still require testing upon arrival and we will recommend attendees to do the RAT test every morning to ensure that they have a negative test before joining with the other conference attendees - you are likely to receive 4 free RAT test kits upon arrival to NZ at the border but we recommend you pick up at least 2 boxes of 4 tests to last you a whole week
There is “Grafton Pharmacy” right outside the SPLASH 2022 venue that may have RAT’s and masks for sale and there is also a web site with RAT collection site in central Auckland here:
