Barcelona is the capital city of the autonomous community of Catalonia in Spain and the country’s second largest city, with a population of 1.6 million within its administrative limits. The best way to reach Barcelona is by plane, flying to Aeropuerto El Prat.

From the El Prat airport you can reach the Princesa Sofia hotel by bus or by taxi. Please refer to Google Maps transit directions for more details on bus connections.

Other options to travel to Barcelona include to fly to Madrid “Adolfo Suarez” Airport (formerly known as Barajas), go to the Madrid-Puerta de Atocha train station by metro and take a high-speed train (AVE) to Barcelona (2:30 hs approx).
