To explore what situation where an APR tool based on a genetic algorithm outputs fixed programs acceptable to developers, we conducted a preliminary experiment with seven bugs in an open source Java project. Experimental results for 5,474 fixed programs show that acceptable programs are likely to be output in the early generations.
