The compiler-driven performance workshop will consist of the presentation of reports on research progress in academia and industrial research and development. Topics to be discussed in the workshop will include, but are not limited to:

  • Compiling for streaming or heterogeneous hardware

  • Compilation techniques for reducing power or carbon footprint

  • Techniques to minimize dynamic compiler overheads at runtime

  • Program safety

  • Whole system optimization and analysis

  • Tools and infrastructure for compiler research

  • Leveraging AI and LLMs for code generation, optimization, or compiler construction

  • Improvements to testability and reproducibility for JIT compilers

  • Using compiler techniques to improve the quality or performance of software testing

  • Compilers collaborating with humans to improve software development or quality

  • Challenges in compiler education for humans and AI
