Quantum Computing — Transitioning from scientific research to a quantum technology industry

Abstract. Quantum computing is transitioning from scientific research to a quantum technology industry. Moving towards quantum computing readiness is now an urgent goal shared across many industry verticals, academic institutions and governments. Ensuring a transition from the existing workforce to a quantum-ready workforce will be key in the Canadian industry quantum enablement. This 1-day quantum computing workshop will expose the latest Canadian initiatives from industry, academia, and government. Participants are invited to join this workshop to grow and discuss their knowledge of quantum computing, and to help build an ecosystem of quantum software researchers and developers in Canada.
