Chris Cummins is a Research Engineer at Meta AI. His research focuses on developing machine learning for compiler optimization and program analysis. Prior projects have included CompilerGym, ProGraML, DeepTune, CLgen, and DeepSmith. Before joining Meta Chris was a postdoc at the University of Edinburgh where his Ph.D. thesis was awarded the SICSA PhD Award for Best Dissertation in Scotland. He is the recipient of best paper awards at CGO (x2), PACT, and ISSTA, and received the Institute of Engineering and Technology Prize.
