Bio:

Xiao Liu received his PhD degree in Software Engineering at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia in 2011. He received his Master and Bachelor degrees from the School of Management, Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China, in 2007 and 2004 respectively, all in Information Management and Information System. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. He is also the Director for the Software Engineering Innovation Lab and leading the reseach program for “Human-Centric Software Engineering: Platform and Education”. Before that, he was an Associate Professor and Assitant to the Dean at Software Engineering Institute, East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, during 2013 to 2015. His research interests include workflow systems, service computing, cloud and edge computing, AI for Software Engineering, and Human-Centric Software Engineering.
