I have studied using the mastery learning methodology at Cti Group (now named Eduvos) specialising in Software Development, particularly in Java. I completed my BTech HND in Software Development in 2013 while working in the financial sector as a software developer.
In 2014, I have started consulting on a part-time basis as an Information Systems consultant, predominantly delivering Java, Linux and ADF training for partners such as Oracle University and MaH Quest Enterprises, while also accelerating my career as a Software Engineer and Implementation Specialist.
I have since consulted as a IT consultant in the financial sector in different capacities including DevOps engineering, technical team lead, solution architect, principal software developer, etc. on over 10 projects until September 2018.
Approximately 6 years ago, I switched focus when I joined BMW IT Hub South Africa as a software engineer. I have since enjoyed the automotive industry. In 2019, I joined a project team with a vision to build a solution that will document all BMW vehicles in a way that all relevant data is integrated to allow easy access to such data for a number of current and prospective use cases.
During the roadshow on the 24th September 2024, I will be showcasing this solution.
