Romina Spalazzese is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Vice Director of the Sustainable Digitalisation Research Centre at Malmö University, Sweden. Her research interests include architectures, quality, and AI during development, deployment, and operation of complex modern systems while striving for more sustainable software and society. In the last years, the main focus of her investigations was on intelligent and trustworthy IoT systems. Romina works in collaboration with industry since more than 12 years and contributes to the software architecture community and ICSA since more than 15 years including many organizational roles, e.g., in 2024 she served as PC Co-chair for the ICSA Research Track.
