Dr. Eric Rapos is an Associate Teaching Professor of Computer Science in the Faculty of Science at Ontario Tech University University, working primarily on research in Software Engineering Education.
Dr. Rapos obtained his PhD from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada in 2017, while also working as a Teaching Fellow for the University, instructing several classes. Dr. Rapos also completed his MSc and undergraduate degrees at Queen’s University. From 2017-2023, Dr. Rapos was an Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Software Engineering at Miami University, Ohio.
Dr. Rapos’ research areas of interest are: CS education, SE education, model-driven engineering, model-based testing, software evolution, test co-evolution, and co-evolution of model based tests. Dr. Rapos has worked closely with industry professionals in the automotive domain to conduct relevant and interesting research.
