Name:Bilal Said

Bio:

Passionate about computer science in general, software engineering, AI, logic, and algorithms in particular, I am recently contributing to the task force of the research and innovation unit of Softeam and Docaposte in actively participating in National and European research projects and providing secure and reliable e-governance solutions with e-Citiz and enterprise software architecture modeling solutions with Modelio.

Previously, I served in academia as the director of the Lebanese Center for Pedagogical Innovation, the head of the Computer Science department and an associate professor at AUL, as a lecturer at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and the Lebanese University. I focused on research problems related to technology-enhanced education, namely AI in virtual reality and serious games.

I spend my time at work nourishing my curiosity, exchanging with peers and colleagues, learning forever, and spreading my passion around me, especially to the hundreds of students I have met and the tens I have supervised during their bachelor, master, and Ph.D. theses. I am lucky to love what I am doing and completely forget the time and fatigue when I draw beautiful images for the concepts that I learn, develop, and share with peers and students.
