Arriving at Santa Barbara Airport
For your convenience, we recommend flying to Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), located right by the UCSB campus. An Uber from SBA to campus takes only 5 minutes and costs $8. An Uber from SBA to downtown Santa Barbara takes 12 minutes and costs about $22.
Arriving at Los Angeles International Airport
If you fly to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), you can take the Airbus to Santa Barbara, which takes 2h30 and costs $55 each way (or $100 round trip, if reserved in advance). If you are two or more people, also consider renting a car and driving from LAX to Santa Barbara, which takes about 1h45.
