Student Registration Grant
Call for Applications
With the help from the National Science Foundation of the United States, Rakuten Mobile, Innovation Studio, and Google, funds are available to support doctoral students to participate in ACSOS 2021 conference. Doctoral students from the world are encouraged to apply for the student registration grant to cover the registration cost of the conference. Students from underrepresented groups, including women and minorities (African Americans/Blacks, Hispanic Americans, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Native Pacific Islanders, and persons from economically disadvantaged backgrounds) are especially welcomed to apply in order to promote the Broadening Participation in Computing (BPC) effort from NSF.
In addition to attending all programs of ACSOS 2021 conference, all student registration grant recipients are invited to present their doctoral research work at the Doctoral Symposium and participate in a special session for professional training and career development. We will organize a panel of leading experts in the field and discuss various topics that benefit PhD students in a long run. Topics include how to conduct literature surveys, write technical papers, present work at conferences, and land jobs in academia and industry, etc.
