Dr. Amiangshu Bosu is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Wayne State University. Before joining WSU, he was a tenure-track assistant professor at SIU Carbondale (2016-2018). He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Alabama in 2015, advised by Dr. Jeffrey Carver, and conducted postdoctoral research with Dr. Danfeng Yao at Virginia Tech. His research has been published in leading software engineering conferences and journals, including ICSE, FSE, TSE, EMSE, TOSEM, ASE, ESEM, MSR, and JSS. He is a recipient of the NSF CRII award (2019), the NSF CAREER award (2024), and the College of Engineering Research Excellence (2025) award. He is a senior member of both ACM and IEEE.
