Morakot is a lecturer at the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Thailand, where he is co-founding the SERU research group. He graduated Ph.D. in computer science from the School of Computing and Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS), University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. At UOW, He worked in the Decision Support Lab (DSL). His current research focuses on AI-Driven Software Engineering (e.g. predicting delays). His research has been published at top-tier software engineering venues, such as IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering (TSE), Empirical Software Engineering (EMSE), and the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE). His Ph.D. thesis receives the Examiners’ Commendation for Outstanding Thesis and won the best thesis award from UOW.
