Claudio Pascarelli was born in Noci (BA), Italy, in 1982. He received the M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Salento, Lecce (LE), Italy, in 2009. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in engineering of complex systems at the same institution. He is currently a Researcher with the National Inter-University Consortium for Informatics (CINI), based in Rome, Italy. He collaborates on national and European research projects focused on ICT for smart environments and public administration. His work explores the development of AI-based business models in healthcare, telemedicine and telemonitoring platforms where has co-authored peer-reviewed publications
