Speaker: Prof. Martin Shepperd

Title: Inference in Empirical Software Engineering

Short speaker bio: Martin Shepperd is the 2022 Tage Erlander research professor at Gothenburg University and also has the chair of Software Modelling & Technology at Brunel University London. He has a BSc in Economics, and an MSc and PhD in Computer Science. He worked as a software developer for HSBC before returning to academia. He has published 3 books and more than 150 refereed research articles in the areas of software engineering and machine learning.

He is a fellow of the British Computer Society.


Keynote 2:

Speakers: Dr. Anna B. Sandberg and Martina Landén, Volvo Cars

Title: Becoming a Software Driven Company

Short speaker bio: Anna B. Sandberg is a Head of Continuous Improvement & Change at Volvo Cars. Her main attention is currently focused on supporting Volvo Cars to become the fastest transformer. Anna Sandberg has an a Ph.D an is an associate professor in software engineering at the University of Gothenburg. She is a Member of the IEEE.

Martina Landén is working as a Change Leader at Volvo Cars. Her focus is on all aspects of software development. Currently she is a driver of the global initiative ‘Software Driven Company’ where she target everything from business to team ways of working.
