There are three main social events during the conference.

Satellite Reception

On Monday evening, the satellite reception is held at the Microbrewery 3 Brasseurs. It is a pub where they brew their own beer on-site. The reception will be in cocktail format. Their story began over 100 years ago in Lille, France when three brewers joined forces to create a brewery that would grow to become one of the most important in the country. In 1985, the descendents of the original founders opened their first neighborhood microbrewery – long before anyone had even heard of a “microbrewery” or “craft beer”. The key to their success then, as it is now, is an unrelenting passion for creating the perfect pint. That’s why their beer is brewed in-house, just steps from your table, by brewers who understand that brewing beer is a magical combination of art, science and dedication. They also have a great respect for the history of brewing and the craftsmanship of those who brewed before them.

The restaurant is located at 105 St-Paul street East in the heart of the Old Montreal. You can easily get there by metro from the conference venue. It is a 9 min walk from Champ-de-Mars station on the orange line.

Welcome Reception

On Wednesday evening, the welcome reception is held at the Atrium of the conference venue. The reception will be in cocktail format. Posters will be displayed in the hall during this time.

Banquet

On Thursday evening, the conference banquet is held at Le Windsor ballroom. We will start in the Peacock Alley and then be seated in the Versailles room. You can learn about the history of one of Montreal’s most prestigious venue that dates back to the XIXth century. Boasting two breathtaking ballrooms and the luxurious Peacock Alley, The Windsor brings elegance to any reception. The palatial Victorian style and French Renaissance ballrooms have hosted some of Montreal’s most extravagant corporate events, weddings receptions, galas and fundraisers.

The ballroom is located at 1170 Peel street in the heart of down-town Montreal. You can easily get there by metro from the conference venue. It is a 6 min walk from Bonaventure station on the orange line.
