Please note: All guests are required to make their own accommodation arrangements; accommodation is not included in the conference registration fee.

Special Arrangement at Scandic Karlskrona

We have arranged special accommodation rates for conference participants at Scandic Karlskrona for stays between 29 November and 2 December.

Rooms can be booked:

Booking and Payment

Guests are required to provide credit card details at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation.

Payment is made directly by the guest to the hotel in connection with the stay.

Guest can change and/or cancel their room until 18:00 on the day of arrival. For changes and/or cancellations made after 18:00 on the day of arrival, or in the event of a no-show, the hotel reserves the right to charge for missed night(s).

Booking deadline: The last day to book at the special conference rate is 31 October.

IMPORTANT NOTE

It has come to our attention that some authors have received unsolicited emails from third parties offering to arrange accommodation or travel for their trip to Karlskrona. One example comes from “Global Travel” (reservations@gtravelhosting.com), asking for arrival and departure dates in order to “finalize” a reservation.

Please be aware that these emails are a scam. They are absolutely not related to PROFES 2026, the organizing committee, or Blekinge Institute of Technology. We have not engaged any travel or housing agency, and we have not shared your contact details with any such company.

Please disregard these messages entirely. In particular:

  • Do not reply or provide any travel dates or personal information.

  • Do not click on links, open attachments, or call the phone numbers provided.

  • Never share credit card or payment details with these senders.

If you have already provided payment information, we recommend contacting your bank as soon as possible.
