During seven years working in Software houses and now since 1.5 years supervising vendors I’ve learned that IT outsourcing business is a very relationship type of business. This fact is very often belittled while at the same time it should be a starting point for all the other activities: how are we looking for vendors, how are we picking the team, do we know what kind of details we should put in the contracts, how to build and develop a productive client-vendor relationship.
The presentation focuses 100% on practice, where I’d like to share with the audience useful hints.
I am Certified Project Manager (PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2®P, ITIL®F, PSM, PSPO) with broad experience in international IT projects. During last decade I was involved in IT projects from US, UK, France, Scandinavia and Poland.
Nowadays, as a consultant and IT Project Manager, I am involved in the project revolutionizing the Danish railways.
