To identify ambiguous expressions in requirement specifications, we herein assessed the utility of a dictionary focusing on transitive verbs and objects and subsequently expanded the dictionary. The results confirmed the effectiveness of the dictionary and demonstrated an improvement in accuracy through expansion. Similar experiments conducted on specifications in different languages indicated the applicability of the method across linguistic variations.
