MODELS 2024
Sun 22 - Fri 27 September 2024 Linz, Austria

In this Keynote, we will explore an innovative approach designed to support educators in developing effective lesson plans utilizing the power of generative AI techniques. The session will focus on a method that aids teachers in articulating precise learning objectives and curating concrete learning activities that align with these goals. Central to this approach is a metamodel that defines the underlying methodology and serves as the blueprint for creating supportive educational tools.

Participants will learn how to harness Open Educational Resources (OERs) to enrich their lesson plans, integrating these resources into a cohesive framework that facilitates robust educational design. The Keynote will provide a comprehensive overview of the methodology, delve into the metamodel that structures the key elements of lesson planning, and offer a live demonstration of the supporting tools in action.

Attendees will gain insights into how this approach can simplify the creation of teaching materials enhancing both educator preparedness and student engagement.
